He holds university degrees in Psycho-pedagogy and Literature (Lomé/Togo) and in Fine Arts (Perugia/Italy). Since 1986 he has been working in advertising agencies in Perugia. In 1994 he founds with other communication specialists the non-profit Association KEY&KEY Communications, and in 1995 his own studio for visual design. He has extensive experience in organising international adult education courses and in the visual management of EU projects.
She is retired university Professor and has been coordinator for the University of Perugia of several transnational projects in the field of intercultural communication and migration issues. Her research interests and scientific expertise are far-reaching, from language policy to urban sociolinguistics, classroom communication, conversation analysis, interpersonal, institutional and intercultural communication. In addition to her university work, she is also active in adult education for communication training in the private and public sectors, with particular focus on verbal and paraverbal (voice) communication in an intercultural perspective.
He is working at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore a Milano, Università degli Studi di Perugia, University of Alberta, and at several other institutions. His research focuses on how people intentionally influence their lives. He takes an evidence-based approach to understand how theories, models, research, and data relate to those experiences. He teaches using an active learning approach, i.e., flipped classroom and peer instruction.
